About the Foundation

The MetroWest Community Health Care Foundation is one of the largest independent health care foundations in Massachusetts. Our mission is to improve the health status of our community, its individuals and families through informed and innovative leadership. We support community-based and community-driven programs to meet the unmet health needs of twenty-five communities in the MetroWest area of our commonwealth.

From preventative and responsive care to programs that serve infants to elders, the Foundation provides over $5 million in annual financial support that helps residents and their families lead healthier lives.

In our work on issues such as childhood obesity and youth substance abuse, we look to develop and support programs that have a positive impact on the health of our community.
